a.This role is responsible for design, development and analysis of fuel cell stack and FCPS (Fuel Cell Power System) through FEA and structural analysis point of view for different configurations associated to FCPS developments and FCEV projects. TML would like to strengthen their Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology portfolio. And this position is part of that. 
b.This role is important to ensure development of in-house capabilities to design, manufacture and evaluate the Different components of fuel cell stacks and stack assemblies and overall Fuel cell powertrain.

Financial: D&D, DMC & Non D&D budget
Non-financial: Project delivery - Timeline, quality and other deliverables as per New Product Development Process.

Personal Profile
Education M.E./ M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
1.Mechanical design & optimisation of FC stack and FCPS components using FEA (Finite Element Analysis)    
2.Design and packaging of fuel cell sub-systems, stacks, assemblies and other mechanical components.
3.Structural analysis of component supports and packaging
4.Assembly and performance evaluation of FCPS balance of plant (BoP) components.
5.Design validation through experimentation and testing for BoP components.
6.Co-ordination for BoP component selection
7.Unit testing of FCPS & BoP components.
8.Design validation through experimentation and Component level performance analysis evaluation.
9.Plan or implement fuel cell product improvement projects in collaboration with other engineers, suppliers, support personnel, or customers.


Work Experience

Relevant Experience :
Minimum experience requirement 3 to 5 years with expertise on FEA and Fuel cell system handling, development & testing 
Working knowledge requirement Must have: 
Skills: FC stack & BoP design,Finite element analysis, Use of tools - Ansys, Hypermesh, Abaqus, Mechanical design, Bench Testing,Test Case Design. 
Domain: Fuel Cell systems, Mechanical design of FC systems, Mechanical Engineering & component design, DoE & Testing, Manufacturing processes.
Preferred to have: 
Skills: FCPS testing, Field Data Analysis, Applications of manufacturing processes. 
Domain: Thermal systems and Heat transfer
Key Responsibilities:

•Adherence to Cost & Time parameters at each project gateway
•Timely completion of activities at hand
2Development of FC stack and BoP components including design validations.     
3Mechanical design analysis of different components and support structures using FEA simulations.    
4Sizing and development of FC stack & BoP components, DoE, and testing.    
5Testing and performance evaluation     
6Perform DOEs on FCPS BoP components level to assess the potential benefit of given technology and generate useful insight and directions from test results.    
7Support on Product Lifecycle Management phases during FCPS development & selection    
8Coordination with multiple agencies for FC stack & BoP development & integration    
9Development of components with supplier for meeting system performance targets.    
10Release of 2D drawings as per company standards and Meeting TML DR gateways and NPI Timelines
