Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for partnering the business to implement holistic communication solutions to business via earned, owned and shared media (non-paid/non-commercial) to optimise opportunities & address challenges while engaging with external and internal audiences:

  1. Comprehensively support and address all communication requirements of the business while working with the Business Head and other senior leaders in coordination with Business Partner – Communications (CV)  
  2. Act as the secondary SPOC interphase and coordinator for the business in engaging with media and influencers across mediums and formats (print, electronic & digital) on the company’s businesses and products
  3. Conceiving, organizing and implementing plans and activities for desired perception building of the company, business and its brands
  4. Developing, updating and timely disseminating all relevant collateral and maintaining an updated bank of the same to facilitate such perception building
  5. For addressing all day-to-day routine queries about the company and the CV business to build reputation and effective media presence for TML, in line with company guidelines and policies



Work Experience

Contribution to planning
    Support the agreed thought leadership and advocacy for business plan with smart execution 
    Plan and implement, guide spokespersons and engage with brand custodians for positive perception to be built
    Creating and managing appropriate communications calendar for sustained coverage of brand, product and business achievements
    Engage with relevant agencies and team members to develop holistic plans to drive the desired narrative
    Regular monitoring and analysis of reportage on the company and the industry, capture emerging trends and biases, and suggest appropriate actions for the company’s businesses and products to capitalize on trends and correct biases
    Track the public presence of key media and influencers visits for learning and insights
Key actions and decisions (Long term and Short term)
    Support internal clients as well as partner agencies to optimize results 
    Support Business Partner – Communications (CV) and Head-Corp Comm in strategic communication and reputation management initiatives
    Draft appropriate briefing content for press kits or any other media and influencer engagement including draft press releases, FAQ’s, detailed briefing books etc.  
    Recommend appropriate Communication tools to break news and amplify/sustain desired messaging
    Organize necessary physical/virtual events for engaging with media & influencers - press conference, round tables, product test drives or experiences etc. 
    Ensure reguar updates received from agencies monitoring media and its analysis 
    Maintain an updated database of all relevant journalists and influencers nationwide with emphasis on cities with Tata Motors presence and important markets
    Ensure all business related  information is updated on Media Centre on corporate website

    Minimum 80% dissemination of key messages 
    Minimum 75% exposure in relevant CAT A media  
    Podium finish in terms of SOV for each BU and overall
    Consistently grow share of reportage in earned media from digital media and regional media
