Purpose of the position

a1.This role is responsible for user experience delivery of the connected car solutions to various user groups.
a2.This role is manages development and delivery of mobile applications and web applications.
b1.This role defines Standards & Carryover Strategy of the EE modules, submodules, and drives it's Engineering, aligned to the QCT of the projects.
b2.This is critical role for engineering delivery as product manager – Managing & owning the user’s end-to-end digital experience.

Relevant Experience :
1)12+ years of experience in domain of Mobile & Web application UI&UX development & delivery.
2)Knowledge of native mobile application development & cross-platform stacks like React-Native, Flutter, etc.
3)Knowledge of modern web application & front end technologies like React, Vue, Angular.
4)Knowledge of JavaScript, Kotlin & Swift.
5)Knowledge of user experience research & development – Creation of user journey maps, mood-boards, and wireframes - unified digital UX across user touch points.
6)Knowledge of Connected car features, global trends & overall technology stack.
7)Knowledge of cloud technologies and APIs, data models, communication protocols.
8)Knowledge of Agile project management frameworks.
9)Experience of at least 2 full product development cycles

Key Responsibilities:

1 Innovation and Technology management:
• Keep abreast with Technology trends and relevant technology providers
• Map feasibility of application of new technologies over a ‘time horizon’ and propose a technology roadmap
• Develop technologies as per approved roadmap
• Execute and document milestones of TCDS process
TCDS (Technology creation & development system ) milestones cleared as per plan
2 Develop Capability:
• Create short and medium term engineering capability plans to achieve functional objectives
• Formulate component/aggregate strategy
• Formulate guidelines and best practices for the aggregate based on the learnings from the projects (TGR & TGW).
• Create & update foundation DFMEAs for the aggregate
• Meeting Targets in the BSC
3 Product Development
• Drive the engineering, development, testing & validation of the sub modules
• Review progress of project and review and approve DMLs to meet the best practices for CoC
• Implement best practices to find and solve problems in the project.
• Drive VAVE for their aggregates as per the yearly targets.
• Guide and Review cost and weight effective solutions and propose implementation in the project
• Participate in resolution of escalated issues by VMTL & Project Leader
• Support delivery of the aggregates as per the project timeline, within the defined cost and quality targets
4 People Management
• Cascade of BSC targets to individual KRA’s.
• Monitor performance and provide individual feedback to direct and wherever necessary indirect reports.
• Capture the current and future skills and competency requirements for all the VE roles.
• Monitor and take corrective measures to bridge gaps in skills and competencies for the department.
