Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

Job Description                       
Job Title:    SMTL Infotainment - Audio Expert                            
Business Unit:    ERC - PVBU        Function:    Electrical & Electronics        Location    Pune    
Sub Function:    Infotainment CoC                No. of Positions :    1    Grade:    L4
1. Qualification & Experience                                
Minimum Educational Qualification:            BE   ME Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications/audio or sound engineering                    
Experience:    10 to 12 Years of relevant experience    


Work Experience

Skill and Competancy requirements                                
1. Hands on Experience in Automotive audio system design, audio tuning and calibration                                
2. Knowledge on Music production and mixing, should have capability of generating decent tones, chimes, beeps etc..,                                 
3. Design and development of automotive amplifier and speaker systems, knowledge manufacturing processes on controlling parameters                                
4. Development experience on Microphones, MIC arrays, accelerometers for vehicle applications                                
4. Knowledge on advanced automotive audio experience algorithms like Active noise cancellation, spacial audio, 3 dimensional or surround sound etc..,                                 
5. Work experience on Active noise cancellation (ANC), Road noise cancellation (RNC) and Engine order cancellation (EOC) algorithm development and tuning exercise at vehicle level.                                 
4. Knowlegde on In vehicle communication protocols like CAN, LIN, A2B etc.                                
5. Expertise in subjective listening (certification can be added advantage)                                
6. Hands on Experience on sound measurement tools like clio, smart or any similar
