Job Title: Executive– Indirect Purchase
Position Summary with Job Responsibilities
This role is mainly responsible for commercial settlement of the MRO items as well as on-boarding strategic and new vendor partners for the business units wherever required. The role must ensure achieving cost efficiencies by deploying various cost reduction levers.
1.Scope – Commercial settlement of MRO Items.
2.Should have indepth   knowledge for various Indirect spend, especially in indirect commodities i.e. Tools Machinery spares and indirect consumables. 
3.Review of RFQ, analysis of requirements, quotes from the suppliers, price reasonability and negotiation to achieve best cost with quality and delivery aspect with specific value additions 
4.Explore cost optimization opportunities thru various levers.
5.Managing and improving Turnaround time for settlements.
6.Adherence to vendor evaluation & rationalization process
7.Should be able to evaluate suppliers, assessment in term of financial health, operational matrix, and business risk perspective etc.  
8.Should be able to visualise market dynamics, doing benchmarking with other OEs and possess market intelligence, accordingly propose / optimize. 
9.Knowledge of Macro and Microeconomic factors.
10.Preparation of periodic MIS for performance evaluation as per BSC and Goals
11.Complying with Internal Audit & Statutory compliances pertaining to scope of activities.
12.Understanding of Purchase orders, Contracts and Agreements. Awareness of import related taxation various schemes, GST etc.
13.Envisioning and supporting Digitization journey in Indirect Purchase.
14.Managing team, as applicable, enhancing team engagement and striving for improving Work culture and Ethics.

Diploma in any Branch


Work Experience

Work Experience 
1.Min 2-3 years of total work experience (preferably automobile).
2.Experience in the areas of MRO Buying.
3.Experience of Should Costing / Zero Based Costing 
4.Communication and relationship management with suppliers and stakeholders. 
5.Understanding & experience of Cost reduction levers
6.Should possess strong negotiation and communication skills.
7.Knowledge of Relevant Taxation framework and application in indirect purchase.
