Purpose of the position
This role is responsible to maintain & Improve outgoing Quality levels of plant Products by conducting effective Inspection of Products at Quality Gates. Ensure adherence to Quality processes and check the quality of the product to meet engineering specification as per production plan and the Standard Quality Procedures set by Quality Engineering. Also responsible for Quality Build for the new products being launched from the Plant.

Dimensions of the position
Complete responsibility for Quality of Current & New EV Vehicles being launched from the Plant/migrated from other Plants.

Relevant Experience:
1.    >10 years
2.    EV OEMs Industry, Knowledge of power devices. Experience in automation /communication units/Electronics Maintenance would be preferred.

1    Strategy Development

1.    Conduct inspections to check adequate manpower in all the shifts and Quality Gates to support the production.
2.    Co-ordinate with ERC Customer Quality for addressing carryover issues in the New EV Product Launches.
3.    Create Process & Systems for capture of EV related data base.
4.    Co-ordinate and support plan for Early Detection of Defects & Resolution of Same
5.    Organize Incoming Quality Audit (Layered Audit, Type testing) Plans
6.    Executive the sampling plans for Warranty and CTQ parts by identifying and filtering the first level of incoming parts affecting product/ process performance.7.    Ensure Safety compliance of all HV assembly process by providing the team members with adequate training.
8.    Monitor Implementation of all ECM (Engineering Change Management) through new ECM Processes and will validate necessary changes & Software versions in Product Qualification standard post implementation of ECM
9.    Ensure to stop the line/ incoming supplies in case of non-compliance to quality standards and its process is seen. 
10.    Evaluate the BITS resolution and Process Failure resolutions through PFMEA, Process Planning Production of new product along with FMQ team as part of LQOS
11.    Monitor the rejections and disposal of vendors items.
12.    Oversee In-Process Quality performance & Effectiveness of Quality gates
13.    Develop and ensure Process Competence & control that is Critical to Quality processes
14.    Check and ensure that the WCQ operation are as per Organizational policy
15.    Oversee and conduct Standard Inspection Process
16.    Ensure to check and update Product quality standards released by ERC from time to time in order to achieve built-in-quality at each stage of operation
17.    Evaluate the outgoing quality of vehicle through Standard Inspection Process (Roll & Brake Tester, Shower Testing, Under Body & Final Inspection, Drive Test) in order to provide quality product to the end customer.
18.    Ensure to update Product quality standards released by ERC from time to time
19.    Inspection of incoming kit quality and approve quality through inspection to ensure defects do not leave the plant.
20.    Ensure to audit the plant yard stock for ageing and certification before despatch of ageing vehicles.
21.    Ensure effective testing of rolled out products.
22.    Schedule and conduct SO PDI Inspection & Drive Issues closure.
