"Lead the architecture team in delivering Cost effective Cross Car line Electrical architecture with world class quality in stipulated time by Collaborating with multiple Centre of competencies.
To develop New Gen Architecture considering feature & technology road map, which is scalable, Secure, cost optimised.
Forward engineering, Preparation of Technology roadmaps and demonstration of features involved along with concerned Centre of competencies.
Project management activities (Electrical Architecture development plan, control and status reporting, Risk mitigations, Issue resolution, Resource management, Competency development, Budgeting, Team building etc)
Delivery of Car architecture balancing Scalability, Functionality, Cost, Quality, time, Size, Weight, Harness metrics, Q current, Network bus load, signal latencies, ECU memory and aggregate commonality.
To define Test Standards & validation Strategy for IVN and align to the QCT of the projects. Also responsible for critical issue (escalated by ML & SMT Engineer) resolution and Deviation Approval."
"Working knowledge of the overall automotive system, functional aspects, design, interfacing, application, testing and integration.
Strong knowledge of the system and functionality, architecture, partitioning, design, testing and integration. of multiple systems.
Automotive communication and Diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS etc), and usage of communication and diagnostic tools. (Network designer, CANoe, Indigo etc).
Knowledge of architecture development tools like PREEVISION.
Knowledge of Legislative and Regulatory Requirements like OBD I, OBD II, EOBD, CMVR, AIS, ECE etc.
-Knowledge of ECU ‘V’ cycle development from concept to production from an OEM perspective.
Hardware development process, interfaces, schematic capture and simulation tools preferred [e.g. ORCAD and PSpice]
Awareness of Software architecture [eg. AUTOSAR], development process [SPICE], methods and tools involved.
Awareness of Vehicle Schematic design tools and Wire harness tools preferred [e.g. Vesys, Mentor Graphics Capital Logic etc].
Usage of communication tools (CANoe, CANalyzer etc) and diagnostic tools.
Should be able to evaluate supplier proposals and provide technical recommendation
Working knowledge of the system and functionality in power-train, chassis, body and infotainment domains, vehicle E&E architecture, function partitioning, design, testing and integration.
Working knowledge of MINT3, RMDVV and other internal systems
Knowledge of System DFMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Functional Safety
Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with cross functional team to achieve the required functional / cost / weight /timing & quality"
