Purpose of the position
a)BS6 Stage 2 compliance is mainly related to the compliance to RDE requirements. TML has more than 60 vehicle variants which are required to be tested and calibrated for RDE compliance. Considering the stringency & limited timeline available for RDE development, additional resources are required for tackling the increased testing load for BS6 Stage 2 and beyond. 
b)Due to limitation from Manpower side, testing activities will get delayed, which will delay RDE development & validation, which will impact DR gateways timelines & in turn will delay the product launches.

Key Responsibilities:
1Supporting Project teams for delivery of VAVE (Technical & Commercial levers from Engines and Quality Improvement targets by conducting relevant RDE tests in time.    % Completion
2Supporting project teams for the timely completion of RDE development, timely DR gateways clearances and final release for production.    % Completion
3Working with certification team & testing agencies for type approval of vehicles (for RDE related testing)     % Completion
4Budget planning related to RDE related infrastructure development     In Cr
5Focus on overall productivity improvement & testing avoidance/cost reduction to be captured under GEAR    Productivity in %
