Responsible for Integration of all aggregates (Digital build of vehicle) to meet the vehicle functionality within specified targets & timeline.

Relevant Experience :
8+ years in product development with sound knowledge of aggregate integration & digital integration processes.
Automobile aggregate knowledge
Hands on experience of Digital integration & validation software (Ex- CATIA, ProE, Digital Mockup).
Knowledge of PLM system, BOM & VC release process.
Knowledge of Vehicle CMVR requirements / Automobile standards.
Knowledge of 4D, DVA, PDCA
Understanding of interpreting CAE reports
Resolution of Proto, BITs, MINT & IPTV Issues
Key Responsibilities:

1Product Development
•Coordinate with various functions (within and outside ERC) to ensure the technical delivery of the products as per GEN 3 NPI process.
•identify and resolve critical technical issues related to product assembly, serviceability ,cost and quality
•Meet product development goals as per DR gateways are aligned to project timelines by collaborating with all stakeholders
•Timely escalate the critical issues at all milestones for resolution/signoff.
•Powertrain & feature list finalisation for the project based on cost targets & PIP input.
•Evaluate VLO (Vehicle Layout) issues digitally & cross verify the same on actual vehicle.
•Prepare & release Vehicle package layout (VPL)
•Maintain, monitor & resolve the engineering issues with proper sign off during each stages of project

Work Experience


2    Contribution to planning 
•    Ensure modularity/commonality of the aggregates while package finalization to reduce D&D costs with COCs.
•    Provide inputs for developing product delivery plan along with product planning team to meet business goals as defined in BSC.
•    Perform critical path activities identification, prepare plan risk mitigation and timely resolution & escalation of unresolved critical issues at the right time.
•    Review the prototype plan and sign off the specification with all the stakeholders (COCs, Suppliers, CAE, Proto team, and Manufacturing team) in order to meet validation criteria.

3    Product Release Management

•    To create VC no. & its Tech. specification in PLM system.
•    Co-ordinate with COC’s for SUBMODULE creation & release of SUBMODULE’s in PLM system.
•    BOM checking & DML/SUBMODULE releases for various aggregates.
•    VC release in PLM system.
•    Color VC releases as per CMFG matrix in co-ordination with PLM & styling team.
•    Cabin spare KIT releases.
