Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

TML conducts its Enterprise Business Transactions primarily on SAP and on a variety of workflow & digital applications. All organisation facing processes like Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, HR, Supply Chain are covered by these systems. These system run the TML Business and all key transformational programs are embedded in the same. Collectively these systems account for 50% of all IT systems in TML today. These systems are developed and maitained by TML IT. 

This position will be working as a part of Vendor Management Control & Operations within TML IT Team which will act as a catalyst between Procurement, IT Delivery and Business.This position will be a Engineer /MBA /MCM/ Masters in Science or Technical area with 10-12+ work-ex. of Commercials and Costing of IT Service/ HW/SW/ in legacy & emerging technologies.
Primary Resposibilities wil include Devising precise financial models to arrive at life-cycle cost of IT Service, Hardware, Software procured in legacy & emerging technologies; thereby provide key inputs for making optimal decisions in IT's procurement.

For a range of IT technology platforms in HW/SW/Services - procured under Capex and Opex :Build IT's own in-house Subject Matter Expertise primarily to analyse technical as well as commercial aspects of the IT vendors' proposals and provide inputs to optimize cost and commercial terms.
Devise detail financial model to arrive at entire life-cycle cost pertaining to multiple proposal options from various vendors in line with technical aspects, delivery timelines, SLAs of the same.
Liaison with Procurement, IT Solutioning and Delivery Teams, Vendor Liaison for commercials and contract, IT Leadership to provide apt inputs for cost optimization areas.
Build repository of multiple IT technologies, skill-sets, their rates, varied offerings from different vendors that can become a ready reference for evaluating oncoming proposals.
Devise processes for capturing multiple options of cost, deliverables, SLAs, offerings from different vendors at different point of times and then actually using those as KT available.
