Senior Manager – Business Finance – Center of Excellence ( COE)

Function: Finance

Sub-Function: Business Finance (Performance Management)

Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

The primary role of the position is to act as Business Analyst of the Business Area for which she/he is responsible.

To discharge the role, she/he needs to have zeal for following activities:

  • Understanding of key products, processes and activities of the Business Area – Plant / Business Functions
  • In-depth understanding of Financial Accounting of Transactions
  • The position needs strong analytical ability with a zeal to understand the underlying transactions for any accounting entry
  • Preparation of various Financial Reports and MIS with deep dive analysis to support decision making at different levels of Management Hierarchy.
  • Detailed analysis of different reporting processes and facilitate standardization and automation through different analytical / visualization tools with elaborate process document for stakeholders’ usage
  • Create adequate database for comprehensive analysis of the business and must do the analysis periodically and take it up with the Plants /Factory / Corporate (internal customers) for necessary actions

  2. Analysis of different expenses with variance analysis
  3. Inventory
  4. Receivables
  5. Operational Efficiency
  6. Financial evaluation of Business Cases
  7. Benchmarking
  8. Process improvement   



CA Final / ICWA Final/ MBA Finance



Work Experience

1 to 3 years of experience in Finance / Operation functions

Other Essential competencies:

Technical –   Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; strong knowledge of SAP – FICO and MM modules; 

Behavioral – Work in a cohesive team; taking ownership; positive attitude and a solution driven approach ; ability to excel under pressure, tough deadlines and challenging internal and external environment;  good inter-personal and communication skills .
