Position Summary with Job Responsibilities
The role is responsible to:
- Customer-focused & business-oriented Data Scientist who will be responsible for conducting analyses using advanced statistics and data mining techniques to enable better decision making.
- Development of Pricing of AMC and FMS is an important element in addition to integration of the Fleet Edge solution with the Pricing framework.
-- Undertake Sales, market, competition analysis and market studies to understand market trends, cause-effect relationship, to increase sales and help resolve pain points within organization.
- Help provide key TML stakeholders with critical information on pricing related to various models, to ensure that more sale conversions happen.
-Provide necessary insights to the business on the introduction of new digital solutions and building on the pricing analytics that will help to make AMC and FMS price competitive and relevant.
Personal Profile
Education
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Masters in Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or other technical discipline.
Skills
Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras etc.
Strong Proficiency in programming in R, Python, PySpark, Power-BI
Exposure to deep learning modelling
Relevant Experience:
1.Possessing 4-6 years of relevant work experience as a data scientist and solving business challenges is preferred
2.Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modelling, data engineering and feature engineering techniques
3.Deep understanding of machine learning/deep learning to build supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised models
4.Experience in automotive sector/Digital business space
5. Domain Expertise in the areas of Pricing, Data Mining and Digital Technology

1-Strategy Process Orientation
Build and drive the Pricing Analytics strategy for TML CVBU-Fleet Care Group for AMC and FMS
Provide Strategic inputs for data priorities in Fleet Care Group in terms of management and monetarization.
Design and build Analytics IT capabilities and tools in conjunction with the CIO and IT strategy for TML that will make AMC and FMS more competitive
Provide Strategic inputs to enhance CRM capabilities to leverage the data that can be used to make the AMC and FMS pricing tool relevant and updated on real time basis.
Define processes and mechanisms to leverage analytics in the Fleet Care Group
Facilitate the development of IT solutions that supplement Analytical interventions.
2-Financial Management
Plan, Monitor and systematically bring down AMC and FMS expenses by proactively suggesting the data trends, failure trends.
Analysing the repeat failures trend and providing inputs to the technical team for interventions.
3-Relationship development:
Ensure good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to acquire timely professional support to meet the targets and implement digital technologies.
Help resolve bottlenecks for teams by following-up on open issues with stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new data product opportunities
4-Planning & Execution
Plan & Prioritize Analytics projects and interventions on the basis of impact to business, return on investment and ease of implementation.
Drive the development of Data Models & Statistical Models with the in-house Modelling team and outsourced capabilities and monitor their efficiency and impact
