Key Responsibility & Key Tasks
Carry out Road load data acquisition (RLDA) for automotive vehicles by mounting various sensors on service road and similar tests on internal Torture tracks
Providing durability test specification data to different test agencies, CAE and designers within timelines
Understanding need of data collection form requesting departments and planning DOE’s accordingly related to electric vehicles.
Preparing duty cycles, test specifications for rig level testing, torture track recipe generation for all class of automotive vehicles.
Arranging repairs (external or internal) and maintaining spares of critical sensors to avoid project delay due to non-availability of instrument.
Ensuring maximum utilization of resources allocated in terms of manpower, equipment, vehicles etc.
Maintain safety culture by following all guidelines and monitor its implementation across working area.
Make and amend work guidelines/work instructions as per requirement
Suggest improvements in day to day activities and carry out IPR’s, participate in ERC events like ICR workshops, technical seminars etc.

Work Experience
Relevant Experience :
• Working Knowledge of automotive vehicles and its validation process. Hands on experience on instrumentation and road load data acquisition is preferred. Knowledge of electric vehicle will be added advantage.
• Working knowledge of instruments like Data loggers, Wheel force transducers, LVDT, accelerometers, strain gauges and their application for vehicle level evaluation etc.
• Hands on experience on use of post data analysis software i.e. Glyph works, Diadams, Matlab and LabVIEW etc.
• Should be familiar with Automotive vehicles / electric vehicle aggregate functions and operating principles.
• Should have ability to coordinate testing by interaction with other agencies, designers, service team, COC, Vehicle integration etc.
