Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

•    Facilitate and allow all buyers across PV/CV/Central to take decisions and negotiate with component suppliers in line with negotiations with raw material suppliers in line with Raw Material strategy (Flats and Tubes). 
•    Category management (Tubes)
•    Market intelligence and Benchmarking.
•    Cost reduction /VA VE drive 
•    Raw material price movement. (For eg. Aluminium, Copper, Lead, Chrome, Stainless steel and flat steel). 
•    To maintain / update the master database and create POs for in-house buying (In-house POs) as well as buying by TML to support vendor operations for all the plants. PO Quantity extension and date extension / modification (Document , relevant approvals from Internal customers , GDC formalities and record keeping for future reference)
•    Support for resolving internal and external audit queries.
•    Work in coordination with SCM team of plant and ensure no shortage of raw material while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
•    Work as Supplier Account Manager. Support suppliers to resolves his various logical issues. Coordinate for meeting of top management and built the relationship. 
•    Support for resolving internal and external audit queries.
•    Ensure availability of RM to all the plants of TML. 
•    On boarding of new suppliers (Need based).Development of new raw materials grades. 
•    Category strategy for raw materials / tubes.
•    Supplier Account Management. 
•    TML plant account management. 
•    MIS management 
•    Organise / attain workshop, training programs and vendor visits.

•    Costing.

•    Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills (both verbal and written) 
•    Advance MS Excel.
•    Advance MS PowerPoint.
•    Functional Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, PLM 
•    Inventory Management (BOM, MOQ etc.).
