Functional Competencies
3D CAD Modelling / 2D detailing (Pro-engineer preferred)
Basic Vehicle Knowledge / Assly Process
Sound knowledge of transmission
Knowledge of material properties and specifications, DVP for parts,TS & SS standards
Knowledge of Transmission Systems in Automobiles (e.g. Clutch system, Gearbox, Transaxle system, Live axles, transfer case etc.), Gear train, differential mechanism. Fatigue testing
Functional-Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Knowledge of Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), reliability testing, Reliability Check List (RCL) etc
Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, DFA, DFM & DFS
Good knowledge of Transmission( Clutch/drive axle/gearbox/transfer-case)Components
Good analytical and communication skills, planning skills, ability to prioritize and multitasking
Functional-Understanding of Heat treatment Process.
Functional-Understanding of Gear Cutting Process
Functional-Technical Design documents
EPS, Tolerance stack-up analysis & Warranty data analysis
