Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

Purpose of the position

This position is responsible for keeping track of advancement in Manufacturing processes; developing annual manufacturing technology roadmap and manage the new technology induction plan within approved timeline and budget.

Key Responsibility & Key Tasks

Manufacturing Technology development and deployment

•             Develop and ensure sign-off of manufacturing technology development

•             Ensure timely delivery of approved manufacturing technologies within budget.

•             Drive closure of manufacturing technology development issues & risks through periodic meetings with Head Operations, Head ME and Function Heads

•             Communicate technology development status to stakeholders on periodic basis

•             Co-development of select technologies with CoCs as applicable.

Education

Work Experience

Relevant Experience :

1. 15+ years’ demonstrated experience of project management and new manufacturing line set up with cross-functional exposure

2. Knowledge of manufacturing technology, manufacturing technology application to products, manufacturing development processes

3. Experience of Global Automobile Manufacturing Technology Development Process and Practices
