Role Objective
"Electric and Electronics Systems Engineering
- xEV Electrical architecture development
- xEV IVN, CAN communication interface, CAN Bus load calculations, UDS
- VCU IO requirement, IO models
- Testing Automation and validation
- Code generation, Flashing, Boot loader issues resolution
- Diagnosis and functional safety
- xEV component requirement definition and validation
- xEV component protection strategy development
- Test bench development and xEV component validation
Job Specifications
Minimum education qualification B.E/B. Tech- E&E
Minimum experience requirement 4-5 Years
Working knowledge requirement "- Knowledge of Electric system (E-Drive, DC-DC, OBC, PDU, Battery, etc.)
- Knowledge of automotive HV and LV wiring, fuse, connectors, etc.
- Knowledge of 2D drawings, Schematics and Routing. PLM Knowledge is added advantage.
- Knowledge of component selection, Database library, Design Release Process
- Diagnosis, Functional safety & DFMEA, UDS
- Knowledge of embedded system, autocode generation and V&V process
- CAN communication protocal and validation
- Knowledge of Electronics control module like ECM,ECU etc.
- Matlab, Simulink, ETAS Inca, Canaluser etc.
- Wiring harness tools: Capital logic, Capital Harness XC, Capital Integrator, Creo, Catia, Team center (added advantage)
Key Performance Indicators
1. Requirement generation for Electrical & power electronics components, wiring harness, HCU, Sensors/actuators electrical architecture etc. .
2. Ensuring Electrical Component requirement validation as per NPI timelines and without any issues
3. Self initiatives for discussion with ATD CoC for issue resolution
4. Number of patents and copyrights filed

Responsibilities
1. Contribution to planning
- Daily work management
- Time management for different projects with scalability & modularity approach
- Timely delivery of gateway deliverables
2. Key actions and decisions (Long term and Short term)
Short Term
- xEV electrical architecture development and Diagnosis management
- xEV wiring harness design
- Coordination with CoC for design & software interface development
- HCU specification definition
- xEV IVN, CAN communication interface, CAN Bus load calculations, UDS
- Software I/O definition and model preparation & validation
- Participate in DFMEA and functional safety
- Follow TCDS, NPI processes and active participation in gateway deliverables
Long Term
- Take lead in xEV E&E systems engineering.
- Field issue resolution for EV and hybrid powertrain
3. Nature of problems faced/ Scope of improvement opportunities
- Standardization & automation of electric component requirements and validation.
-Validation of electrical & Electronics component and release as per stringent NPI timelines without any issues
