Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

Purpose of the position

As a part of digital transformation there is a plan to implement an unified Model based system engineering (MBSE) approach across all domains supported by electronics hardware and software at various stages such as design, development, simulations, verification and validation, supplier collaboration and maintenance of product throughout the product life time.

This role will lead the deployment of MBSE framework with all the required toolset and interfaces in line with defined MBSE Roadmap for all PVBU and EVBU.

Key Responsibility & Key Tasks

Digital transformation

•             Implementation of MBSE framework with all the required toolset and interfaces.

•             Ensure the delivery of end-to-end model for requirements, functional, logical, and physical designs.

•             Ensure the data at various level are connected and bi-directionally traceable.

Develop Capability:

•             Create short- and medium-term engineering capability plans to achieve functional objectives.

•             Formulate Horizontal deployment strategy.

•             Formulate guidelines and best practices based on the learnings from the projects.

•             Arrange Trainings for MBSE process and Tools.

•             In-house training module development.

Work Experience

Relevant Experience : 

1)            12+ years of experience in Automotive domain.

2)            Strong knowledge on Agile process and experience in implementing in MBSE toolset.

3)            Strong knowledge on Modelling the system and functionality, architecture, partitioning, design, testing and integration.

4)            Expertise on system behavioural modelling and analysis.

5)            Expert Knowledge on various tools used for MBSE

6)            Excellent Project management, communication skills, Co-ordination & Delegation, Tracking and Escalation along with Conflict resolution.

7)            Experience of team management.
