Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

Request For    TLC – Tools and accessories
Qualification    B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical engineering
Domain    Design engineering and support
Primary Skill    Tool design practices , Automobile/ Vehicle engineering systems
Relevant Experience    3 - 5 Years
Job Description    The selected candidate will be responsible for :
•    To interaction with suppliers for design clarifications, engineering support during part development and testing,
•    To create concept design to finalization of parts for tools and accessories
•    To interact with vehicle engineering teams for verification and testing on vehicle.
•    Detailed 3D modelling, assemblies and 2D drawing creation using PROE/CREO.
•    To interact with suppliers for part development and confirmation through customer support
•    Co-ordination of CAE requirements for tools using basic understanding of CAE.
•    Planning of activities like design, part procurement and testing and validation

Preferred Skills & Knowledge    
•    Design experience in PROE-CREO, good knowledge of tool design, PROE/CREO solid modelling, drawing creation, surfacing and assemblies, sheet metal design
•    Understanding of manufacturing processes
•    knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA and testing processes, domain knowledge of vehicle attributes and systems, manufacturing processes
•    Good communication skills and co-ordination
•    Tool design practices , Automobile/ Vehicle engineering systems
•    Understanding of quality processes, ability to work alone & in team environment
•    Knowledge of data management in PLM/Teamcenter.
