Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

Purpose of the position
The role will be responsible for ensuring future-readiness in line with the manufacturing strategy by driving capex planning, produce-ability (DR0-DR3),digitization and digitalization for all upcoming projects as per stage of the program with suitable process and layout. 

Dimensions of the position
Financial: Responsible for estimation co-ordination of 
1.Strategy Planning with P & M EVBU approx. Rs 500  Cr annually.
2.To meet SE and DM Deliverables as per Gen3 process for business readiness for new and variant introduction .

Personal Profile
Education    Graduation in Engineering (MBA  Operations / Finance preferred)

Relevant Experience :
1. B.E/B.Tech with 5-10 years of experience
In depth knowledge of  manufacturing areas, and knowledge of products, engineering, project management (internal Gen3) and digital validations needed

1Mfg strategy-
 To identify and foreclose all manufacturability issues by digital study and by digital facility simulations, prepare initial process documents considering the  facilities layout in line with product/process mix at a plant level to be considered in strategy.
Digital strategy- for 3 years and adherence.
-Dimensional Mgmt
Deploy digital validation like DVA, Delmia, DES, FTI, TCUA for MBOM, at respective plants and ensure that dimensional management deliverables / requirements are met, as per the project requirements.

- % Issue foreclosure, Process document readiness
-%Digital PIST, DVA reports, etc.
- % Gen3 (SE+ DM) Deliverables target met, MBOM done.
- Improvements done.
2Mfg strategy-Drive and co-ordinate for the overall manufacturing strategy for all PV area. Also prepare / co-ordinate for capex plan at BU level and for further approval. Concept of appropriate (product or process based), facilities layout in line with product/process mix at a plant level to be considered in strategy.
Overall utilization of all Plants / shops with optimum capex
Technology roadmap creation and sustenance for PV
3Digitization and Digitalization-
Digital assessment of issues faced in productionized vehicle and provide way forward

Provide Process design rules to ERC 
% Closure of the issues reported
